MARCELA G. ECKLES

I'm a self-taught artist/painter influenced by the world of dreams, symbolism and inspired by surrealism. I enjoy getting lost in the process of painting and drawing which for me is a form of detaching from the business of thinking and feels like a very natural state of being. Some of my images come from my dreams. The lines in my drawing often take shape and form spontaneously, without pre-sketching or pre-planning. Other images come simply from things found in the beautiful pattern of wood or shapes of floating clouds. Enjoy and please feel free to reach out with any questions or comments.
